Our goal is to make our transition from Marathon Data Systems to WorkWave® as easy as possible, with little to no impact for our customers. Below are some answers to general questions that you or someone in your organization may have in regards to our name change and how it may impact to your business.

Q. How come I still see Marathon Data Systems in various places throughout some of your websites?

A. Marathon Data Systems has developed numerous programs and resources over the last 30 years. We’ll be gradually incorporating the WorkWave name into various products and materials over the next several months, so you can still expect to see Marathon in some places for a while.

Q. I’ve been a happy PestPac customer for years, with all these new solutions, does this mean you are getting rid of PestPac?

A. No. We’re actually adding more resources to continue building and enhancing PestPac. PestPac is such a well-known name in the industry, we’ve decided not to change the name.

Q. I’ve been using PestPac integrated with a 3rd party GPS solution. With the addition of WorkWave GPS, do I have to discontinue my other GPS service?

A. No. You can still use our 3rd party GPS integration, nothing is changing with that.

Q. We use Marathon Mobile, is that going to be changing?

A. Yes – we will be renaming this shortly to something that is more reflective of our brand. It will be the same product that we’ll continue to develop and improve, just with a name change.

Q. Are there any other products you plan on adding to your portfolio?

A. We’re always looking for ways to help our customers grow their business and delight their own customers whether that be organically or by acquiring additional solutions to help accomplish that.

Q. Is the information I have for contacting support changing?

A. All support phone numbers and emails will remain in effect for all Marathon support matters including Foxtrax and Viamente for the immediate future.

Q. I’m a Marathon University subscriber, will that be changing?

A. Marathon University will continue, but we will be renaming this shortly to something that is more reflective of our brand. We’ll communicate this change in the coming months.

Q. Now that you have a different name, what name should we write checks out to?

A. Going forward, please write all checks out to “WorkWave” at 3600 State Route 66, Neptune, NJ 07753

Q. What name will display on our credit card billing statement?

A. On payments made directly to a credit card, you will see the charge made to “Workwave/Marathon Data Systems, Workwave/Qxpress, Workwave/SCEO, Workwave/Foxtrax, Workwave/Viamente” for a period of 3 months. After this, you will see exclusively “WorkWave” on your statements. Invoices sent out will be updated with our new name and information.

A. No. WorkWave Fleet is the next incarnation of Viamente Route Planner. WorkWave Fleet has all of the same capabilities as Viamente Route Planner, with added features and modules available to purchase.
